Core systems in brief

Your station is built around Operations, which raises your player level and unlocks buildings; the Academy, which houses officers; the R&D Department; warehouses, generators and vaults; drydocks that hold one ship each; and Defense Platforms. Peace Shields block attacks, with a free ten-minute shield after the first attack once every two hours.

Ships come in four types — Interceptor, Explorer, Battleship and Survey — with an advantage triangle in which Interceptors beat Battleships, Battleships beat Explorers and Explorers beat Interceptors. Officers add Attack, Defense or Health bonuses and carry an Officer Ability and a Captain's Maneuver.

Parsteel, Tritanium and Dilithium are the core resources; raw Crystal, Gas and Ore are refined into upgrade materials; Latinum is the premium currency.

What we have not verified, and will not assert

  • PC and Mac system requirements. Scopely's Help Center page blocks automated reading; check it directly.
  • Interface, control or performance differences between PC and mobile. No official statement describes them.
  • Specific officer or ship tier rankings. Balance changes with updates.
  • Current promotions or bundles. The 2021 PC-launch incentives should not be assumed to still run.
