Neverness to Everness PC Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?
Official NTE minimum and recommended specs, exactly as listed on Steam, with an editorial interpretation of what each line means for your hardware.
NTE's PC requirements are higher than most free-to-play games, and the gap between minimum and recommended is wide. Below are the official numbers exactly as published on the Steam store page, followed by our reading of them. The two are kept separate on purpose: the specs are the developer's; the interpretation is ours, and it does not include frame-rate claims because we have not benchmarked the game.
Official requirements (Steam, 3 September 2026)
Minimum: Windows 10 64-bit; Intel Core i7-10700 (10th Gen) or Snapdragon X; 16 GB RAM; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, AMD Radeon RX 5600 or Qualcomm Adreno X1; DirectX 11; 70 GB available space; broadband connection.
Recommended: Windows 10 64-bit or above; Intel Core i7-12700 (12th Gen) or Snapdragon X2 Elite; 32 GB RAM; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, AMD Radeon RX 6700 or Qualcomm Adreno X2; DirectX 12; 70 GB available space; broadband connection.

| RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
| GPU | GTX 1660 / RX 5600 / Adreno X1 | RTX 3060 / RX 6700 / Adreno X2 |

Editorial interpretation
Three things stand out. First, the CPU floor. Listing a 10th-generation Core i7 as the minimum is unusual; many games of this type list an older Core i5. In practice it signals that the game is CPU-hungry in its dense city, and that an older quad-core will struggle regardless of graphics settings.
Second, memory. Sixteen gigabytes as a minimum and thirty-two as the recommendation tells you the game keeps a lot resident. If you have 16 GB, close other applications; if you are choosing between a GPU upgrade and a RAM upgrade for this game specifically, the RAM figure is the more unusual demand.
Third, the graphics tier. A GTX 1660 minimum and an RTX 3060 recommendation are conventional for a 2026 Unreal Engine 5 title. Note the DirectX line: the recommended tier moves to DirectX 12, which is where modern features live, so a GPU that only supports DirectX 11 will be limited to the minimum experience.
The inclusion of Snapdragon X processors and Adreno GPUs in both tiers is notable: it means Windows on Arm laptops are officially supported, which is still rare.
What we are not telling you
We have not measured frame rates on any of this hardware and will not estimate them. Performance depends on resolution, settings, driver versions and the specific scene, and a number invented here would be worse than none. If you want a rule of thumb: hardware matching the recommended tier is what the developer had in mind for the intended experience; hardware at the minimum will run the game with reduced settings.
If your PC is below the minimum
NTE is streamable on NVIDIA GeForce NOW, through the GeForce NOW app on Windows PC, Mac and Chromebook or via a browser on those platforms, and progress syncs with your other platforms on the same server.
The game also has native Mac, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android versions with cross-platform support, so a modest PC is not the only way in.
Cloud streaming shifts the hardware demand to NVIDIA's servers; your side needs a stable connection rather than a fast GPU. It is a legitimate way to try the game before deciding whether to upgrade anything.
